About the blog

This blog is intended as a central point for financial network analysis. The analysis of financial networks is a growing field and the research enhances our understanding of the structure of financial web through cartography and modelling. It can also help us understand threats to financial stability and measure systemic risk of individual institutions and the system as a whole.

My aim is to feature important developments and new research in the area through this blog. Please contact me if you would like to contribute to the blog or simply share some of your work to its readers. Currently (end of 2009) the blog has some 90-100 unique visitors on a weekly basis.
